We qualify the location
A participating restaurant, salon, lobby, or neighborhood venue provides the audience and an approved placement area.
Doorstep Specials Boards · Renton pilot
Six category-exclusive businesses share one useful, custom-branded specials board inside a neighborhood venue—where local customers already stop, wait, read, and decide what to do next.
A-frame concept · entrance or in-venue placementNot another ad people avoid. A useful fixture they naturally look at.
How the placement works
Doorstep Mail coordinates the venue, board, creative, category protection, QR response paths, and advertiser communication.
A participating restaurant, salon, lobby, or neighborhood venue provides the audience and an approved placement area.
Only one participating business from each direct category appears on a specific board.
Your offer, brand, call to action, and trackable QR path are designed to work at the board's real viewing size.
The host uses the main writing area while your permanent placement stays visible during the agreed campaign term.
Two intentionally simple options
The host chooses the format that fits the space. Frame finish and exact dimensions are confirmed for each location before production.

A clean, space-saving board installed securely at a participating venue—ideal near host stands, counters, waiting areas, and service lobbies.

A portable, high-visibility format for entrances, patios, sidewalks, lobbies, and other strong foot-traffic positions.
Concept mockups shown. Final board size, frame, finish, advertiser dimensions, and placement may vary by venue and approved supplier.
Board pricing
Choose a qualifying wall-mount or A-frame host location. Your category-exclusive ad remains active on that board for 12 months.
Quarterly EDDM placement is $600 per campaign and includes the standard approximately 2.8×3.8-inch ad size on one 12×9 postcard. Additional quarterly campaigns are $600 each. Applicable tax is added separately where required.
For local advertisers
Every placement is designed around one useful offer and one easy next action. Your ad does not rotate away, disappear after a swipe, or share its board with a direct competitor.

For host locations
Qualified host venues receive a custom-branded dry-erase board built around their daily specials, announcements, services, events, or guest information. Doorstep Mail handles advertiser coordination so the venue is not turned into an unpaid ad-sales department.
Every hosted whiteboard arrives with an eraser and a starter set of dry-erase markers—on the house.

No. Once your category is reserved under the written category definition, another direct competitor does not share that board.
Along the permanent advertiser panel at the bottom of a named host location's board. The location, board style, campaign term, and expected placement are confirmed before payment.
Yes, when QR is the selected response path. We test the production code at its intended size and report the available scan signals. Scans do not by themselves prove calls, appointments, or sales.
No honest advertising company can guarantee customer behavior. We guarantee the specific placement, creative, category protection, tracking setup, and coordination written into the agreement.
Approve the design and placement, use the board appropriately, keep it accessible and presentable, and tell us promptly if it is moved, damaged, or removed.
